United States · Founding partner program
Bring the shadow gap detail to US contractors.
A complete aluminum system for drywall reveals, floating ceilings, flush baseboards and integrated LED — supplied to the trade. We are appointing one founding distribution partner per state or region.
In short
Shadow Gap Profiles is a Scandinavian manufacturer with production in Finland, Poland, Ukraine and China. It supplies 97 aluminum shadow gap profiles and components — ceiling, wall, floor, baseboard and LED profiles — to distributors. In the United States we are appointing one founding distribution partner per state or region. Distributors can apply online or request a free sample box.
Who buys it
Three buyers for one detail.
Architects & interior designers
They specify reveals, floating ceilings and flush baseboards and need dimensioned drawings they can rely on.
Drywall & finishing contractors
They build the detail on site — and reorder on every project once the system works for them.
Builders & homeowners
They ask for it by name once they have seen a floating ceiling or a baseboard-free wall.

FAQ
Questions from US distributors.
What is a shadow gap profile?
An aluminum profile that forms a narrow recessed reveal between two surfaces — wall and ceiling, wall and floor, or a door frame and drywall. It is installed before finishing and taped and mudded in flush, so the reveal stays straight and durable.
Is a shadow gap the same as a drywall reveal?
Yes, in practice. In the US the detail is often called a drywall reveal, shadow line or reveal trim; at the floor it replaces a conventional baseboard with a flush, recessed line.
Do you have stock in the United States?
Not today. Orders ship from our warehouses in the Baltics and Scandinavia, and delivery terms and timing to the US are confirmed with every quote. Building a stocking position is part of the conversation with a founding partner.
Are the profiles imperial or metric?
The profiles are manufactured in metric dimensions, in lengths of 2.5, 2.6 and 3.0 m (approx. 8.2, 8.5 and 9.8 ft). Dimensioned drawings are on each product page; we review compatibility with your local drywall build-ups during onboarding.
Can profiles be supplied in custom colors?
Yes. Standard finishes vary by profile — typically mill, silver, black or white — and most aluminum profiles can be powder-coated in any RAL color on request.
Do you sell directly to contractors in the US?
No. We supply distributors. Once a territory has a partner, every inquiry from that territory is passed to the partner.
